SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) – The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today’s session adopted a Joint Statement on the commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina to undertake the necessary reforms to establish institutional functionality and efficiency at all levels of government and allow BiH to prepare for future membership in the European Union (EU) as a sovereign state that fulfills the conditions and obligations for membership.

ELI TAUBER TELLS STORIES OF JEWS SAVED IN BOSNIA
SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - In 1941, when Sarajevo's Jews were being rounded up and sent to concentration camps, Dr. Muhamed Kundurovic, a Bosnian Muslim, reported to a military camp where Jewish women and children were being held and declared they were carriers of an infectious disease. It was a lie, but a well-intentioned one, intended to get the prisoners out of the camp so he could help them escape, Huffington Post stated on Thursday.

ČOVIĆ: WE HAVE TO HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION TO THE AGREEMENT WITH SDP (Photo)
SARAJEVO, 29 January (FENA) - There has to be an alternative agreement with the SDP, because if we depend on anyone, we will not have a final solution. And then nothing will change for the next three months. So, there must be an alternative to this solution and because the dominant SDA is in charge of finding a solution I'll wait until Monday to hear what they did, Croat member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and President of HDZ BiH Dragan Čović told FENA, commenting on attempts to unblock election of the President and Vice President of the Federation of BiH.
