SARAJEVO, February 13 (FENA) - I am expressing concern and anger over the messages of hatred and ethnic and religious discrimination that some of the citizens of Čapljina have sent last weekend during the manifestation of the Great Masquerade Carnival, Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, told FENA.
Their morbid performance, he says, is an unacceptable act that offends the victims, destroys the dignity of the individual and fosters fear.
"At a time when we should strive for the civilization values that are embedded in the European Convention on Human Rights and which clearly condemn discrimination on any ground, this behavior of individuals that offend the dignity of others and glorify war criminals is an insolent, uncivilized and malicious action.
Therefore, I expect the competent institutions to take all necessary actions in accordance with the legal procedures in order to stop and sanction such manifestations of ideological, national and religious hatred," said Mr. Zvizdić.
