SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) – Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milan Dunović met today with the representatives of workers of the bankrupt company “Hidrogradnja d.d. Sarajevo” and urged the authorities to solve their problems as soon as possible.

He stressed that the problems in Hidrogradnja had existed for four government terms and that it is high time that they are resolved.

“They have had no salary with contributions since 2003. The problems were reoccurring and the company went bankrupt in 2016, which means the end here, although bankruptcy should mean something entirely different,” said Mr. Dunović.

He urged the FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić to help the bankrupt Hidrogradnja’s workers. He also urged the FBiH Minister for the Issues of Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Defense-Liberation War, Salko Bukvarević, as most of the workers are war veterans.

A representative of the bankrupt Hidrogradnja’s workers, Jasmin Arifić, said that their basic demand is the retirement of 272 workers who meet the retirement conditions and that they receive eight out of 36 unpaid salaries.
