MOSTAR, Feb 15 (FENA) Favorable housing loans for young people in the Federation of BiH could be available as of March this year, today's BiH edition of “Večernji list” daily writes.
The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the state-owned Union Bank, respectively, are planning to allocate KM 10 million for that credit line.
- The final decision is being finalized and this credit line will be soon available to young people. Through this project, the FBiH Government is sending the message that it wants to help young people stay in BiH and live and work here - Finance Minister of FBiH Jelka Milicevic told.
Up to KM 150,000 will be provided for a loan. The repayment term is up to 20 years with the fixed interest rate of 2.99 %.
The loan will be available for young people up to 40 years of age. Those under the age of 35 will not have to pay the loan approval, while processing costs will be charged to people aged from 35 to 40.
As announced by the FBiH Government, the loans will be equally distributed throughout the Federation of BiH.
