SARAJEVO, February 20 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Dragan Čović met with Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH Christiane Hohmann and Country Director of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) for BiH and Montenegro Brigitte Heuel-Rolf.
The collocutors discussed the cooperation between GIZ and educational centers in BiH, especially with the University of Mostar, stated the BiH Presidency.
The Director of GIZ informed Mr. Čović that, in cooperation with the University, four projects were currently in the phase of realization. Through the realization and initiation of these projects, the University has established cooperation with local enterprises and the local community that has invested or will invest in these projects.
The cooperation has begun with three faculties in Germany (TU Friedberg, TU Darmstadt, BSC Reutlingen) and preconditions for further cooperation are being created.
Mr. Čović thanked the Director of GIZ for BiH and Montenegro for the initiative for cooperation and pointed out that the mentioned projects will benefit not only the University but also the local community.
