MOSTAR, Feb 21 (FENA) - The Croatian Democratic Community (HDZ) of BiH has become a full member of the International Democratic Union (IDU), says the statement issued by the Information Office of HDZ BiH.
At the meeting of political leaders, organized by IDU, held in Madrid, Spain, the Deputy President the HDZ BiH, Zdenko Cosic, signed the London Declaration of the IDA, by which the HDZ BiH officially entered the membership of the Union.
On the occasion, Former Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, was elected as the new president of IDU.
Before the meeting of political leaders, Deputy President Cosic and representatives of political parties attended a meeting with Prime Minister of Spain, Marian Rajoy.
To remind, the IDU is an international alliance of right-wing parties that regularly organizes conferences and forums with political parties to exchange information and political experiences, says the statement.
