JAJCE, Feb 22 (FENA) – On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of establishment of HDZ BiH in Jajce municipality, Chairman of BiH Presidency and President of HDZ BiH Dragan Covic, said that it was necessary to build living ambiaence, pointing out that over 40,000 members of the HDZ BiH "give power to assume responsibility for own people for all good and bad things".
According to the public statement issued by the Information Office of HDZ BiH, Covic headed the delegation of the party officials from all levels that was welcomed by the President of the HDZ Jajce Municipal Board and the Chairman of the Jajce Municipal Council, Ivo Simunovic.
Referring to the difficult circumstances inwhich the party was founded, the war and post -war days and complicated inter-party relations in Jajce, Simunovic pointed out the satisfaction with the results achieved at the local elections and their final implementation.
He added that the HDZ BiH had persisted and got the positions that, under the Election Law , belonged to representatives of the Croatian people in that municipality.
- We will continue to build unity within the party and people in this area, which we are obliged by the tombs of our war veterans who, like each stone of our fortress, testify to the great sacrifice.
- The fact that the observance was held in the building of the Jajce municipality, where Croats participate in power, confirms the existence of better climate for Croat people, - Covic pointed out in his address.
- Both good and bad things are the result of work. We must heal war wounds and organize ourselves to send a message that we are still here, that this is our homeland and that without us there is no decision-making about its destiny - said HDZ BiH President Dragan Covic on the occasion.
