Novalić: We are obliged to cherish BiH as a legacy for the generations to come

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, February 27 (FENA) - The Federation of BiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić extended today congratulations to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of 1 March - the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Twenty-six years ago, 64 percent of Bosnians and Herzegovinians responded to the referendum on the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of whom 99.44 percent declared themselves that they wanted to live in sovereign and autonomous homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a state of all its citizens, peoples and nationalities.

We are proudly celebrating this great event, which is just one in a series of proofs of the centuries-long tradition of statehood that we inherited from our ancestors, and which we have to cherish as a legacy for the generations to come.

Our greatest task is to do everything to make Bosnia and Herzegovina a stronger country with each new day, a country with the rule of law, equality for all.

I wish all the citizens a happy Independence Day of our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said in Novalić in his congratulations, stated the Public Relations Office of the FBiH Government.
