MOSTAR/ SARAJEVO, Feb 27 (FENA) - Representatives of ICITAP (International Criminal Justice Assistant Program of the US Department of Justice) in BiH Amel Selimovic and Ines Adilovic met with Director of Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Galic and Assistant Director for Organization and Operation, Slobodan Krstic.
On the occasion, views were exchanged and activities agreed in regard to the mentor training projects for trial work of police officers, within which a manual for trial work of police officers will be prepared, says the statement issued by the Border Police of BiH.
The mentioned project provides for the establishment of a working group and training of mentors who will, after completion of the training, train police officers during their trial work.
Today's meeting is a continuation of ICITAP's support to the work and development of this police agency, primarily through provision of technical and material assistance and training for police officers of the Border Police of BiH.
The top officers of the Border Police of BiH thanked for the support, pointing out the importance of further improvement of cooperation with the aim to develop the Border Police of BiH, says the statement.
