SARAJEVO, March 2 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić received Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mohammad Javad Zarif and informed him about the current economic and political situation in BiH.
During the talks, Chairman Zvizdić and Minister Zarif agreed that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iran have traditionally good and friendly relations and that there is a great potential for further development of cooperation, especially in the field of economy.
Chairman Zvizdić said that this is also evident in the presence of a large number of delegations from Iranian businesses at today's business forum organized by the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber and that he expects that cooperation in all sectors will intensify.
Minister Zarif extended an invitation for Chairman Zvizdić to visit Iran. They both expressed the desire and willingness to advance the level of cooperation by continuing with the high-level visits.
They talked about the possibilities for establishing payment transactions and expressed the hope that this issue would soon be resolved, thus removing the obstacles to strengthening economic cooperation.
Chairman Zvizdić and Minister Zarif also discussed liberalization of the visa regime, for business people, tourists and citizens, as well as the cooperation in the field of tourism, scientific, technical, educational and cultural cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Iranian Ambassador to BiH Mahmoud Heidari, the BiH Council of Ministers said.
