Wigemark hosts the debate 'EU Visiting Local Communities' in Gradiška

SARAJEVO, March 9 (FENA) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Lars Gunnar Wigemark will host the fifth edition of the debate 'The EU Visiting Local Communities'', which will be held today at the Cultural Center in Gradiška.

Participants in the debate will also be experts for socio-economic and sustainable development from Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Office of the European Union Special Representative in BiH launched the project "Local community takes over the EU initiative", as part of which it will visit 15 local communities in BiH, and hold public debates about the role of the local community and the challenges and opportunities offered by the EU accession process.

The debate will bring together more than 100 entrepreneurs, representatives of public administration, public enterprises and civil society organizations, farmers, youth and experts for the economic and sustainable development of local communities.
