SARAJEVO, March 14 (FENA) - France and Germany share the same attitude towards the countries of the Western Balkans, expressing their support for their long-term stability, economic and social development, as well as their European integration, it was said at a conference of German and French ambassadors in the countries of the Western Balkans, attended also by a number of officials from the German and French foreign ministries, who gathered in Sarajevo on March 12 and 13.
The goal of this regional ambassadors’ conference was to examine the situation in the Western Balkans and to devise joint projects in order to provide support to the region.
During the meeting with the Secretary-General of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), Đuro Blanuša and his deputy, Fatos Mustafa, the participants of the conference paid special attention to the European perspective of countries in the region, regional cooperation, strengthening the rule of law, security challenges, the role of women, the position of LGBTI persons and the positon and role of young people in the region, stated the Embassy of France in BiH.
