SARAJEVO, March 15 (FENA) - The Days of Francophonie, for which French Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Guillaume Rousson said is built through exchange and sharing, will be held from March 16 to March 31 in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar, Maglaj, but also in other cities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The French Ambassador today presented the rich and varied program of this year's Francophonie Days intended for a wider audience, which will be opened tomorrow with the concert of the BiH music group "Jall Aux Yeux".

The program will include, among other things, the gastronomic event "Taste of France", which France, after three previous successful editions, is organizing this year as well.

“At least eight restaurants will participate in this event, and dinners will be held on March 21 in Sarajevo, March 22 in Mostar and March 29 in Banja Luka,” the Ambassador announced at today's press conference in Sarajevo.

Also, encouraged by the last year's success of the "Francophonic Film Week", the organizers of the Francophonie Days will organize it this year as well. The "Francophonic Film Week" will open on March 19 with Farid Bentoumi's "Good Luck Algeria" film, and during the week, several films from countries that belong to the International Organisation of La Francophonie will be screened.

Mr. Rousson was particularly pleased to host the exhibition "60 Years of Smurfs".

As he said, taking into account the young people, they had made a program that has not only a pedagogical but also a participatory and educational dimension.

“The exhibitions of comics in Sarajevo, postcards in Mostar, theater performances "Kids" and "No less, no more", as well as “Tamara” films, are intended for schoolchildren,” he explained, adding that the number of seats is limited and that visitors must make reservations.

The Ambassador noted that the program of the Francophonie Days was designed with a focus on the French language, but also as a part of the multilingual multifaceted world.

For such a rich program, he thanked the international partners from Belgium, Greece, Romania, Egypt and Switzerland operating in Sarajevo, as well as BiH partners.
