SARAJEVO, March 16 (FENA) - A delegation of the FBiH Police Administration (FUP) today laid wreaths on a memorial to the late Deputy Minister of the FBiH Ministry of Internal Affairs, Jozo Leutar, in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Ciglane, marking the anniversary of his assassination.
The FPA delegation will also lay wreaths in the building of the FBiH Police Administration and in Mostar on March 28, at the grave of Mr. Leutar, FPA announced.
On this day, in 1999, an assassination was carried out against Jozo Leutar, then Deputy Minister of the FBiH Interior Ministry and this case is still unsolved.
On March 16, Mr. Leutar was riding in his official car, when an explosive device in his vehicle exploded at 07:50 in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Ciglane.
His driver, Željko Ćosić, who was also in the car, survived.
Mr. Leutar passed away at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo on March 28 from the injuries caused by the explosion.
Mr. Leutar was buried at the "Masline" cemetery in Mostar.
