SARAJEVO, March 16 (FENA) - Antonia Arahova, Director of the National Library of Greece, and Director of the Greek Presidential Library, Chair of the IV IFLA Division and IFLA Support to Librarian Profession and a member of the IFLA's Board of Directors (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions), visited the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina where she met with Director Ismet Ovcina and his associates, the NUL BiH stated.
Director Ovčina expressed welcome to the guest and informed her about the history of the Library and the current situation with this institution.
In a brief visit to the Library, Arahova was informed about the Department of Special Collections, and was delighted to see the numerous manuscripts in the Greek language preserved by the Library.
On this occasion, Ovčina presented Arahova with several publications of NULBiH, including the book "The Treasures of the National and University Library of BiH".
