SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) - The Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the BiH Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Goran Pavković, born in 1975 in Prozor, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
Pavković is charged with inhuman treatment and involvement in the torture of Bosniak detainees in the area of Prozor in 1993.
The Accused is charged that during the war and armed conflict between the Army of the RBiH and the HVO in the Prozor-Rama area, as a member of the HVO "Rama" Prozor, he acted contrary to the provisions of the Geneva Conventions on the Protection of Civilians during Armed Conflicts.
He is charged with participating in the torture and abuse of a group of detained Bosniak civilians who were abused during interrogation in the premises of the Fire Department in Prozor by beating the illegally detained civilians with an electric stick, over the arms and legs.
The Accused is charged with committing the criminal offense of War Crime against Civilians, the BiH Prosecutor's Office stated.
