SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) - The Association of Families of Children and Persons with Disabilities "Give Us a Chance" has launched a campaign titled "Family Rules", to mark its seventh birthday.

US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack today symbolically received the first umbrella with the inscription “Porodica je zakon” ("Family Rules") in support of the campaign of the same name.

Addressing the audience, Ms. Cormack said that today's day was special because it celebrates the seventh anniversary of the confirmation of the existence of the Association and the changes it has brought.

Speaking that in BiH, thanks to their efforts, there are now five centers for helping families with children with disabilities, Ambassador Cormack said she visited a lot of parents, talked to them and heard how much change the centers brought to their lives and their children’s lives.

“That is why the Embassy in BiH and the US Government are very proud to be here with you, that we support those centers and what we do together with them, with our partners,” she said.

The centers for helping families with children with disabilities are supported by USAID.
