SARAJEVO, March 30 (FENA) - Exhumation of remains of victims of the recent war continued today on the location of Dragojevića buk, Foča area, where so far incomplete remains of at least two victims have been exhumed.

“The exact number of exhumed victims will be known after the autopsy and identification based on DNA analysis,” the BiH Missing Persons Institute spokesperson Lejla Čengić told FENA.

She said that the exhumation was being carried out on the landfill and the search is done by machine and manually. In some places, a depth up to about 15 meters is being searched due to the large amount of garbage thrown here, which makes the search difficult.

The exhumed remains have been transported to the Autopsy and Identification Center in Goražde, where the court medical and crime-technical experts will analyze them and bone samples will be taken for DNA analysis.

The exhumation, which, according to the order of the BiH Court is being handled by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, will continue next week as well.
