SARAJEVO, April 5 (FENA) - Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adil Osmanovic, talked with Greek Culture Minister Lydia Koniordou about a stronger link between the cultural institutions of the two countries.
Minister Osmanović on this occasion stressed that the Greek National Theater has invited artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina to participate in the International Workshop on Ancient Drama in Delphi from 16 to 30 July 2018.
“The workshop is sponsored and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Greece. It is intended for young theater professionals from Greece and abroad, including actors with at least two years of experience, directors, set designers, costume designers and choreographers.
Activities on the selection of participants from BiH are in progress, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs believes that such events are an excellent chance for improvement of cooperation,” said Minister Osmanović.
Greek Minister of Culture Lydia Koniordou proposed a children film festival that is being held in Olympia for possible cooperation in the future.
“I particularly want to highlight the great knowledge and experience that our experts have in the field of restoration and conservation. We are ready to share our knowledge with experts in the BiH museums,” said Koniordou.
Osmanovic and Koniordou agreed that the two countries should exchange calendars of cultural events in order to provide better information for participation of artists in the events in both countries.
