SARAJEVO, April 6 (FENA) - The Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq organized tonight in Sarajevo a celebration of the Victory over terrorism (ISIS) and the Iraqi Shahid Day, and this was the opportunity to remember the people who gave their lives for the right ideas in which they believed.
A representative of the Islamic Supreme Council for the Balkans countries Ali Al-Baldawi said that this was a way of expressing gratitude to the creators of the victory over ISIS, that is, members of the armed and security forces of Iraq, but also to all those who helped them.
"The fall of ISIS is considered to be the pride of all Iraqis, regardless of their differences and specificities, as it represents the fruit of the effort and unity they are proud of. It will be a bright page in their country's history," Mr. Al-Baldawi added.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps in Bosnia and Herzegovina, political and religious representatives, businessmen and representatives of social life in BiH attended the program, which also marked the Day of Sarajevo - the Day of Victory over Fascism.
