SARAJEVO, April 8 (FENA) - The Metropolitan of Dabar-Bosna Hrizostom sent out a message to all the Orthodox faithful, saying that "the joyful news of the resurrection should be spread out to the world and the ages, and today this is more necessary than ever because the time has come when lies wage war against the truth, the antichrist against the Christ God."
“We testify to what we believe and know to be true, which is that Christ resurrected. Carrying this faith and knowledge in our hearts and in our being, we say to you, do not to be afraid because Christ has conquered the world," said the Metropolitan in his Easter message.
Metropolitan Hrizostom, among other things, emphasized that Easter asides joy and positivity is also an opportunity to seek and receive the answer to the most important existential question: what is the ultimate meaning of human existence? Is it death, or something else? The mystery of the Resurrection of Christ contains the answer to that question.
The Metropolitan extended congratulates to the faithful, asking them to welcome the Easter holidays enjoy life, and especially mentioned all those exiled from their and displaced from their homes, all those who suffer gross injustice, who are denied basic human rights to life and work and to a life worthy of human being.
Metropolitan Hrizostom has urged all those responsible in the state and society to respect everyman, to respect people and nations and "to turn towards creation of a good environment for the life of our peoples and our churches and religious communities."
