Novalić attends meetings with officials of World Bank and IMF

SARAJEVO, April 22 (FENA) – Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić took part in meetings with officials of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in New York within the BiH delegation.

Novalić informed officials of these two institutions about results and achievements of the FBiH Government in the previous period.

Novalić emphasized that despite numerous political obstructions the Government managed to implement series of demanding reforms in four areas, which are financial laws, labor-legal legislation and business environment, social laws and increase of investment potential of entities for capital investments.

This resulted in stabilization of public finance and extra-budgetary funds, growth of GDP, employment and export and stronger real sector.

Representatives of the World Bank and the IMF once again stated they are ready to provide all necessary logistic and advisory support to FBiH on its reform path.

Meetings held during the weekend were an opportunity to summarize cooperation.
