BiH Court - Slobodan Knežević released from pre-trial custody

SARAJEVO, April 23 (FENA) - On 19 April 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision denying the continued custody motion filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina No. T20 0 KTRZ 0013284 16 of 18 April 2018, so the pre-trial custody of suspect Slobodan Knežević, as ordered by Decision of the Court of BiH No. S1 1 K 023825 18 Krn 28 of 22 March 2018, is terminated. 

At the same time, the following prohibitive measures were imposed on the suspect Slobodan Knežević: travel ban under Article 126(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CPC BiH), a ban on meeting certain individuals under Article 126(1)c) of the CPC BiH.

Suspect Slobodan Knežević was in custody since 22 March 2018 and was released on 20 April 2018. 

Slobodan Knežević is suspected of the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)h), as read with Subparagraphs a) and k), in conjunction with Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), the BiH Court stated.
