SARAJEVO, April 25 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić received today the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Bandar Al Hajjar.
They talked about strengthening the business environment and improving entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Chairman Zvizdić thanked for the previous support of the Islamic Development Bank to projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and informed Mr. Hajjar about the advantages that BiH has, emphasizing the sectors of energy, transport, timber industry and tourism.
Mr. Hajjar commended the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed out that the Islamic Development Bank was ready to expand cooperation in the coming period.
IRB President Hajjar praised the success of the Sarajevo Business Forum and stressed that the Islamic Development Bank was ready to continue, increase and expand cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that this had been shown by the interest shown by the numerous funds that today participate in the Forum.
Chairman Zvizdić emphasized the importance of investing in the development of small and medium enterprises and startup companies, which would significantly contribute to the employment of young people and them not leaving BiH, the BiH Council of Ministers stated.
