SARAJEVO, April 25 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović received today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Şimşek.
The interlocutors on this occasion underscored excellent and friendly relations and good bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Deputy Prime Minister Şimşek, who is a guest of the Sarajevo Business Forum, stressed that the Government of the Republic of Turkey will continue to encourage business people from Turkey to invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Chairman Izetbegović pointed out that, despite the complicated constitutional order, Bosnia and Herzegovina is achieving substantial economic progress, as well as the one on its European path.
He stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina has all the preconditions to become a stable and prosperous European state in the next ten years, and that it needs additional internal consensus and commitment for an accelerated reform path, as well as the support of its friends from both, the East and the West.
Chairman Izetbegović invited the investors from Turkey to invest in projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying that the investments of today could bring manifold benefits in the future.
