Zvizdić: We have to work more, better in interest of state, workers and citizens

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 30 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić congratulated citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina the International Workers’ Day - May 1.

“On the day we recall the long and important struggle for rights of workers, on behalf of the BiH Council of Ministers, and on my own behalf, I would like to emphasize our full commitment and insistent work on improving the overall standard and increasing the employment of our citizens.

Three years later, despite visible results, we cannot be completely satisfied because even today many of our citizens still do not have jobs and do not receive salaries to live a life worth living, while many who work have their rights violated and the quality of working conditions reduced.

Therefore, we all have to work more, better and in the interest of the state, workers and all citizens, to implement reforms that are difficult, long and sometimes painful, but reforms that will help us strengthen the economy, attract new investments and create new jobs.

I congratulate to you May 1 - the International Workers’ Day and I want you to spend it in peace and health with your family and friends,” reads Mr. Zvizdić's congratulatory message, BiH CoM stated.
