SARAJEVO, May 4 (FENA) - The Central Election Commission of BiH today organized a seminar for political entities entitled "Registration of political subjects for participation in direct elections", which was attended by more than 70 representatives of political subjects at the Education Center in Sarajevo.
The goal of the seminar was to inform political subjects (political parties and potential independent candidates) on the obligations and deadlines for submitting applications for verification of participation in direct elections, as well as the activities of the Central Election Commission during the process of verification of submitted applications, candidate lists and candidates.
President of the Central Election Commission of BiH, Irena Hadžiabdić addressed the participants of the seminar, who, among other things, stressed the importance of such seminars which facilitate the work of the Commission in this pre-election period, but above all they are of great help to political entities, especially newly formed political parties and potential independent candidates, stated the CEC BiH.
