SARAJEVO, May 9 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić scheduled a meeting of the Coordination Body on Migration Issues in BiH on Monday, May 14, regarding migrants who have recently arrived in BiH.
Mr. Zvizdić recalls that the BiH Council of Ministers at its 140th session adopted a conclusion on the preparation of an analysis and plan of future actions related to the increased inflow of illegal migrants, as well as on the models and capacities of their legal and humane admission and treatment.
The BiH Council of Ministers has instructed the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit for the next session of the BiH Council of Ministers, along with the Information on Illegal Migrants Staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Proposal of the Decision on the Establishment of a Temporary Operational Staff for Dealing with Migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will include representatives of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Institution of Ombudsmen for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other competent institutions from all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Zvizdić expects all levels of the government to participate in solving migrants' issues in accordance with their competencies and possibilities, the BiH CoM stated.
