Zvizdić discusses political situation and reforms with Cormack and Wigemark

SARAJEVO, May 11 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić met respectively today with the U.S. Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark and discussed current political situation in BiH.

Chairman Zvizdić repeated that BiH CoM is committed to reform processes as the only way leading towards accelerated economic development and better standard of living of citizens of BiH. He emphasized that the Euro-Atlantic integration remains the primary foreign policy goal of our country.

He added that BiH expects activation of MAP for membership in NATO soon, which would be an important message to potential investors that BiH is a stable and secure country.

He also informed ambassadors about activities of the Council of Ministers of BiH regarding the upcoming summit in Sofia.

Ambassadors Cormack and Wigemark welcomed reform engagement of the Council of Ministers of BiH and fully supported the Euro-Atlantic path of BiH.

They also discussed the rising problem of inflow illegal migrants in BiH.  

Chairman Zvizdić informed the ambassadors that the Council of Ministers of BiH has reacted and instructed the competent institutions to get involved in solving the issue of migrants in accordance with their jurisdictions and possibilities, Council of Ministers of BiH stated.
