Novalić: Refugee issue is a question of solidarity, care for others and humanity

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 18 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić emphasized that he was thoroughly surprised and shocked with today's events in the Konjic municipality at a time when the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina found a solution to accommodate and help refugees and migrants in a humane and responsible manner, stated the FBiH Government Public Relations Office.

“I believe that the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are those that can sincerely understand and recognize the misfortune of these people, and therefore, both as a human being and a prime minister, I simply do not understand the reasons behind today's events,” he said.

Prime Minister Novalić said that authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and also the cantonal authorities, want to underline that the migrant issue including the refugees, elderly, women and children, should not be subordinated to administrative procedures because it is a matter of solidarity, and care for another human being and humanity as a whole.
