SARAJEVO, May 22 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović met today with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of the Government of Greece Janis Dragasakis and discussed key issues of increasing the volume and intensity of cooperation between the two countries.
Greece is turning to the region, both in political and economic terms, and will support faster integration of the Western Balkans into the EU, as well as infrastructure connections, it was concluded at the meeting.
Greek Deputy Prime Minister conveyed to Minister Šarović the willingness of the Greek side to speed up procedures for signing an agreement between the two countries on mutual recognition of driving licenses and facilitating the travel of citizens of the two countries, and expressed readiness for the well-known Greek company and investor Alumil from Thessaloniki to enhance its investments in the proprietary company Alumil in Vlasenica.
Minister Šarović is leading a business delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina in its visit to Greece. More than twenty companies and the representatives of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH today presented the investment opportunities at the Business Forum BiH - Greece, as well as the possibilities of increasing mutual trade and economic cooperation, and a series of meetings were held between the representatives of business ventures of BiH and Greece, stated the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
