Continued cooperation between labor and employment agencies of BiH and Germany

SARAJEVO, May 23 (FENA) - Director of the Labor and Employment Agency of BiH Muamer Bandić received today a delegation of the Employment Agency of the Federal Republic of Germany, led by the Director of the Central Office for Mediation of Professional Workforce from Abroad (ZAV) Alexander Wilhelm.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the Agreement on the employment of workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Federal Republic of Germany for a defined period of time on the caretaking jobs and it was agreed to continue with its implementation, with the possibility of further improvement.

They also welcomed the practice that the Director of the Labor and Employment Agency of BiH occasionally visits our workers in Germany and to verify their status.

The two officials also discussed Regulation 26.2.  of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, and it was agreed that in the coming period, the two countries should formalize the labor migration of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Federal Republic of Germany in order to ensure full legal protection of our citizens, which is only possible with the participation of two state agencies in the mediation procedure in employment, stated the Labor and Employment Agency of BiH.
