BRUSSELS/SARAJEVO, March 24 (FENA) - The Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Administration of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized last night in its Representative Office for the European Union in Brussels an iftar for representatives of European Union institutions as well as representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina in that city.
The iftar, among others, was attended by members of the European Parliament, officials of the European Commission and the EU External Action Service (EEAS), as well as the Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union, led by Ambassador Lidija Topić.
The iftar was also attended by Bakir ef. Halilović, the chief imam for Benelux and Antwerp.
The organization of the iftar in Brussels is a continuation of the activities and cooperation of the Islamic Community with the institutions of the European Union, MINA reports.
