SARAJEVO, June 14 (FENA) - On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, also known as Ramadan Bayram, Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić sent out a congratulation note to Raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein effendi Kavazović and to all Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"After the Ramadan fast, Eid celebration in Muslims strengthens their faith and communion," Cardinal Puljić wrote in his congratulations and extended wishes "that our faith in God gives us strength to be builders of peace and security in this country that is still going through difficult times as a consequence of a merciless war."
"It is particularly important that our faith in one God and God's laws guide us through interpersonal relations thus creating stability and new prospects for this society in all its diversity, based on equality," wrote Cardinal Puljić in his message.
