SARAJEVO, June 21 (FENA) - Exhibitions of the City of Pesaro from Italy and Beyoglu municipality from Istanbul, whose delegations are visiting municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, opened at the gallery area of Novi Grad municipality yesterday.
Opening ceremony, which was held within traditional Novi Grad Days 2018, was attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to BiH Nicola Minasi and First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Recep Köşker.
Photographs displayed in the gallery and hall of the municipality show cultural-historic heritage of the friendly city and the municipality and are available to the visitors for the next seven days, municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo stated.
Director of public development of Beyoglu municipality Levent Cetin added that visitors have an opportunity to see nine interesting photographs by Turkish author Tumir Tahmaz.
Assistant Mayor of Pesaro Mila Della Dora emphasized that this year marks 150 years of death of famous Italian composer Rossini and this anniversary is marked in the entire world.
After opening of the exhibition Twinning Agreement was signed between Novi Grad municipality and City of Pesaro, followed by a concert of classical music performed by students of Music Academy of University in Sarajevo with performances of selected works by Italian composers.
