National minorities of Sarajevo Canton present their cuisine (VIDEO)

SARAJEVO, June 24 (FENA) - National minorities of Sarajevo Canton presented their cuisine yesterday within a festival ''Minority 2018 – Sarajevo Canton National Minorities Days“.

Montenegrins, Macedonians, Polish, Slovenians, Austrians and others gathers at the Academy of Fine Arts under slogan ''Multy-culty food''.

Chairperson of the SC national minorities Davor Ebner told FENA this event is traditionally one of the most interesting events within the festival and it gathers great number of people.

“National minorities present their cuisine, which is a very important segment of life, but they also point to their presence. It is important to introduce residents of Sarajevo to people who live among them but are not members of constituent peoples, so called 'others',“ said Ebner.

''Minority'' festival was organized by the Council of National Minorities of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with Sarajevo Canton and cantonal Ministry of Justice and Administration.

Festival concluded last night with a joint exhibition of Montenegrin photographer Dragan Sjekloća and academic painter Ljubomir Borozan, whiich will be displayed at the Academy of Fine Arts until Tuesday.
