SARAJEVO, June 28 (FENA) - Archives of the Federation of BiH organized an exhibition on the occasion of 70 years of the Cominform Resolution, which tells a story about this period, which was significant for former Yugoslavia.
On this day, 28th June IN 1948, Stalin and management of USSR accused Communist Party of Yugoslavia for improper interior and foreign policy, that is, deviation from Marxism/Leninism.
Then the Yugoslav answer to Stalin followed, on June 28, also known as a historic NO.
After long year campaign against Yugoslavia, policy of the Cominform was defeated in the fifties.
Author of the exhibition, director of Archives of the Federation of BiH Ademir Jerković said that exhibition consists of five displays which show the history of Cominform – fight of people of Yugoslavia at the time for freedom and ultimate victory of Yugoslav state.
Jerković emphasized this exhibition is important because it shows joint effort of all citizens, peoples of BiH, Yugoslavia, to escape hardships, unlike today. He referred to the period of the Cominform Resolution, difficulties Yugoslavia faced at the time, reconciliation, as well as the role of Yugoslavia until the nineties.
"Exhibition is remembrance of glory days of the past, when we walked up straight, and it is a message to young people how to overcome inter-ethnic divisions and live with dignity," said Jerković at the opening.
