SARAJEVO/SOFIA, July 8 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić met yesterday in Sofia, on the sidelines of the 16 + 1 Summit, with Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancillo and talked about improvement of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Chairman Zvizdić said bilateral relations were good, with no outstanding issues and expressed hope that bilateral cooperation would continue and develop for mutual benefit.
Chairman Zvizdić said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is an active participant in all regional initiatives and processes and supports all activities that lead to linking, stability and economic development of the region.
He pointed out that it is very important that the region proceeds with positive developments and remain in the focus of European partners. He voiced hope that Romania, as the country that assumes the EU presidency after Austria, will keep the Western Balkans in the focus during its presidency.
Prime Minister Dăncilă said that Romania wants to strengthen cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the economy, by linking the chambers of commerce and entrepreneurs.
She added that Romania is ready to provide political and technical assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to speed up its European path and stressed that Romania will keep the Western Balkans on the European agenda during its presidency, stated the BiH Council of Ministers.
