SARAJEVO, July 16 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović and the Veterinary Office of BiH are conducting final activities in order for Bosnia and Herzegovina to obtain a permit for export to the European Union all other types of milk and dairy products, which to date it has not had a license to export.
These are milk and dairy products with a lower degree of processing that have undergone only one pasteurization treatment (the so-called Row B).
“If we were to obtain this import license and the European Union accepts our requests, it will be another important step in achieving the EU standards for domestic companies and institutions in the chain of responsibility for the food of animal origin,” Šarović said.
A report by the European Commission on the fulfillment of the conditions for placing BiH on the list of the European Commission is expected in the coming days, stated the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
