PODGORICA/SARAJEVO, July 17 (FENA) - A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović met today in Podgorica with President of Montenegro Milo Djukanović.
Čović once again congratulated Đukanović on his election victory for the president of Montenegro.
The two officials discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and concluded that they are good and friendly, but that there is room for improvement of cooperation at many levels.
Djukanović emphasized the unequivocal support of Montenegro to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to EU membership.
The two also discussed the creation of preconditions for effective promotion and implementation of the sustainable development goals within the UN Agenda 2030, which Bosnia and Herzegovina assumed as an international obligation in 2015.
Čović thanked Djukanović for the provided assistance and support, especially when it comes to preparing the responses to the European Commission Questionnaire, activities on the drafting of the Integration Program, as well as coordination mechanisms in the process of European integration, stated the BiH Presidency.
