SARAJEVO, July 17 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendeš and her associates received today Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to BiH, Nicola Minasi and informed him about the activities of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, with a special emphasis on the efforts of the defense institutions to activate the NATO Membership Action Plan for BiH as soon as possible.
Pendeš informed Minasi about the activities related to meeting the set of conditions for activating the MAP, and pointed out that the BiH Ministry of Defense has made significant progress in their implementation, especially in the process of registering the prospective military property to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minasi supported the activities of the MoD and the AF BiH, promised a continued support and assistance of the Government of Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed a special interest in continuing cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, stated the Public Relations Office of the MoD BiH.
