SARAJEVO, July 24 (FENA) - Ambassador of Egypt to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ahal El Bishlawy, at a last evening’s reception held in Sarajevo on the occasion of celebrating Egypt's National Day, said that the Egyptian people celebrate this day with feelings of honor and pride and are working together to fulfill dreams of building a developed society.
She emphasized that Egypt faces enormous challenges, among which are threats of terrorism, but it is still a strong country thanks to its faith, integrity and cooperation among Egyptian people.
In her address before local and foreign officials, she pointed to good relations between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These two countries "enjoy strong relations of friendship and historical political relations that are empowered by love among nations and mutual respect for independence and sovereignty.
“Egypt supports BiH's choices and its steps towards a better future and wishes BiH a successful electoral process in which Egypt is ready to provide assistance if needed.
This is our first year in BiH. We promise that we will do the best we can, with the support of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government, institutions and officials.
We count on you. The Salvation Tunnel in Sarajevo was a source of hope and a source of life, and now it's time for roads and bridges to lead people to a better life in which hopes and dreams become facts and reality,” said Ambassador of Egypt to BiH.
At the last reception in Sarajevo, the Embassy of Egypt celebrated the 66th anniversary of the revolution of July 1952 that paved the Egypt’s path into a society of free and peace-loving nation.
