SARAJEVO, July 27 (FENA) - President of SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić believes that yesterday’s move by HDZ and SNSD at a session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the FBiH made the institution of the vital national interest completely meaningless.
“Instead of being used for what it was intended, it became a mechanism for blocking the entire parliamentary system. HDZ and SNSD thus gave us the best possible argument for the abolition of this ethnocratic political system. I thank them for that,” said Nikšić in a statement for the media.
He also sent out a message to SDA, saying “when they were incompetent to do anything purposeful, they should offer an apology to all citizens who want normal BiH, because they appointed SNSD's Drago Puzigaća, who together with HDZ's Lidija Bradara buried the democratic will of the citizens".
“If SDA supported the draft law on electoral units in December last year, all these blockades could have been prevented. Now this is basically impossible. The only solution remains a complete defeat of such politics in the October elections,” said Nikšić.
At the end, he said that the solution to the crisis is now in the hands of citizens.
