Foreign Minister Crnadak meets with US Secretary of State Pompeo in Washington

SARAJEVO, July 27 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak met with the US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo during the Ministerial Meeting on the Promotion of Religious Freedoms at the State Department in Washington.

Minister Crnadak at the meeting with the Secretary of State Pompeo stated that the United States is an important partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that Washington's support for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the organization of BiH has had an invaluable significance for the long-term stability and development of our country.

Minister Crnadak and State Secretary Pompeo exchanged views on the situation in the region of Southeast Europe, and Minister Crnadak informed Pompeo, that he as a representative in the Council of Ministers of BiH from the Serb people, will participate in the 100th anniversary celebration of President Woodrow Wilson's proclamation, in which he paid tribute to the Serb victims in the First World War, stated the BiH MFA.

Secretary of State Pompeo thanked Minister Crnadak for participating in yesterday's meeting and informed him that a ministerial meeting dedicated to religious freedoms will be held next year as well.
