BIHAĆ, August 3 (FENA) - The Police in the Una-Sana Canton (USC) as of today are implementing restrictive measures and controls at check points in Ključ.

All illegal migrants who arrive in Bihać and Velika Kladuša without proper documents will be returned to their place of departure, it was announced today at the meeting of the USC Prime Minister Husein Rošić with representatives of towns and municipalities in this canton.

“We can no longer tolerate this situation. As of today, we are starting with restrictive measures and any migrants without proper document will not be allowed to enter the territory of the Una-Sana canton.

We have to do it right now, and we hope that by next Friday, the Ministry of Security of BiH, will finally do something concrete regarding the location for temporary accommodation of migrants,” said Rošić.

According to the operational information from the ground, at the moment, more than five thousand migrants are located in Bihać alone.

“Unfortunately, it is still just our problem. We are constantly repeating ourselves and appealing to the authorities, but we are getting no answers, answer, let alone a concrete action,” said Edin Moranjkić, advisor to the Mayor of Bihać.
