BIHAĆ, August 16 (FENA) - The City of Bihać can serve as an example for the whole of Europe when it comes to reception approach towards migrants, but adequate support is needed, because the local community cannot deal with this situation all on its own, said Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Reinout Vos at the meeting with Mayor of Bihać Šuhret Fazlić.
Together they visited the accommodation locations for migrants in the former student center in Borići, given that the situation with refugees and illegal migrants was the main reason for today's visit of Ambassador Vos.
“Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has given us support in everything we have done so far in terms of accommodation and the approach towards migrants. He also pledged support in our future activities, in order to make the situation easier, both for the migrants and citizens of Bihać,” said Mayor Fazlić.
During the visit, Ambassador Vos also showed interest for the tourism potential of Bihać, especially the Una National Park.
