Mayors of Sarajevo, Belgrade and Zagreb discuss cooperation (VIDEO)

SARAJEVO, August 17 (FENA) - Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka hosted a meeting with mayors of Belgrade and Zagreb, Zoran Radojičić and Milan Bandić, and discussed regional cooperation and development of tourist offer.

After the meeting, which was held for the first time in Sarajevo, Skaka emphasized that stability of these cities is a precondition of stability of BiH, Serbia and Croatia.

"We talked about a tourist route we will form together with tourist communities to connect the capital cities into a joint tourist destination. I also invited the mayors to be part of our big project, which is the Youth Winter Olympics, which will be held in 2019, which we are organizing with the city of Istočno Sarajevo," stated Skaka.

Mayor of Belgrade Zoran Radojičić emphasized that the three agreed that cooperation holds high importance for these cities and the citizens.

"We agreed that development in all areas we mentioned, such as tourism, culture, economy or sport, is equally important for all of us. I want to send a message that stability and peace in the region is very important to all of us," said Radojičić.

Milan Bandić emphasized that it is beautiful people that Zagreb, Sarajevo and Belgrade have in common and those people expect more cooperation and better life.

Next meeting will be held in Zagreb and then in Belgrade.
