Izetbegović receives credentials of newly-appointed Ambassador of Poland to BiH

SARAJEVO, August 23 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović today received credentials from Jaroslaw Lindenberg, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to BiH.

Izetbegović wished the Polish Ambassador a successful mission and expressed hope that the good cooperation between the two countries would continue in the future.

Izetbegović said that Poland's experience, which is a member of the EU and NATO, is very significant for BiH.

He informed Ambassador Lindenberg about the current political situation and the process of implementing reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to integrate the country into the EU.

Ambassador Lindenberg said that Poland supports Bosnia and Herzegovina's progress on the EU path and that Poland's experience in the European Union accession process can be of good use to BiH.

He expressed hope that his mission will serve to further develop friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries, the BiH Presidency said.
