SARAJEVO, August 24 (FENA) - Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and Vice President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Šefik Džaferović has strongly condemned the attack on the Ferhadija Mosque in Banja Luka on Thursday and urged the competent state and entity institutions to immediately find and sanction the perpetrators.
“This attack is a direct consequence of the atmosphere of interethnic intolerance and hatred that has been actively spread by the RS entity officials led by Milorad Dodik for years now, including the public broadcasting service of the entity which serves the same purpose,” stressed Džaferović.
Džaferović has called on all politicians in BiH, and especially those in the RS entity, to behave responsibly in their statements and actions, since every publicly spoken word that spreads hatred, dissension and intolerance can cause situations like this one.
