Victims of War in Foča: Families are still searching for 625 missing citizens

SARAJEVO, August 29 (FENA) -The association of victims of war "Foča 92-95", on the occasion of August 30 - International Day of Missing Persons - has reminded of the fact that 26 years after he war, families are still searching for a large number of citizens who went missing as a result of the 1992-1995 war.

“This day is important for the whole of BiH, and it is extremely important for us, the former and present inhabitants of Foča, a city that was one of the places of biggest atrocities during the war in BiH.

Even today, after 26 years of pain and uncertainty, families are still searching for 625 missing, killed citizens of Foča,” stated the association.

They say they will never give up in the fight for the truth, and that they are bitter and dismayed by the slowness of the institutions tasked with establishing the truth about missing persons and prosecuting perpetrators of war crimes.
